Anatomical Position

This is the Standard Anatomical Position. This is the position you stand to
describe where you are talking about on the body in relations to another
part of the body.

This allows us to use the terms Anterior (Ventral) and Posterior (Dorsal).
Additional terms we use are Superior and Inferior, Medial and Lateral, and
Proximal and Distal
Anterior/Ventral And Posterior/Dorsal
● Anterior/Ventral View is the Front
view

● Posterior/Dorsal View is the Back

The Cranial is the skull and it


protects the brain
