2. Give the importance of woodblock printing
3. Make your own calligraphy using your name

Topic: Chinese roof desgign, ukiyo – e and calligraphy
Reference: Grade 8 learners’ module
Values integration: Our body is a gift from God so take good care of it.
Materials: chalkboard, pictures, videos, visual aids

III. Procedure
Pray attendance presentation of the title of lesson
A. Motivation
1. Look at pictures of Chinese architecture
2. Let them guess what is unique with Chinese buildings
B. Lesson Proper
1. Discuss the meaning of Chinese architecture
2. Ask: What is Ukiyo-e? What is the importance of woodblock printing?
3. Ask them to make name calligraphy using the sample presented.
