Program link: This task is associated to the guidelines of all the content courses in Year 3 Primary (EPC 3403 - EPR 3203 – EPR 3003). It is also associated to the requirements of the portfolio.
Objective: You will:
1. record the planning for the guided math groups that you taught and the learning outcomes you covered (including the level of learning outcome: emerging, developing or mastered). 2. Evaluate the learning – all got it, most got it, some got it, I need to reteach this again. How do you know? What did the students do to show that they understood? 3. Add pictures of the center activity/students’ work to your e-portfolio (include the LO and name of the center) Lesson Plan Activity Description (Describe how you will teach the guided All got it! Most got Some I need to Ready it! got it! reteach math) for the next level up Lesson 1: I will set with small group and I will give each ✓ [14/10/2018] student a small board. Then I will give them LO (Emerging): the question about how to change the multiplication equation to division equation and solve it and they must to solve it alone first then discuss it together.
Lesson 2: I will give each student a worksheet that they ✓
[15/10/2018] must to work independently on the sheet LO which is about multiplication properties. Then (Developing): each student will share with other students and the teacher her work with explaining.
Lesson 3: I will use the differentiation with the students ✓
[21/10/2018] by dividing the students to three group one LO (Mastered): group for emerging level, one for developing level and one for mastered level. Then I will give each group worksheet about multiples of 10,100 and 1,00 which is the sheets related to their level and they must to discuss it together then share their work with the whole class. Lesson 4: I will work with whole class and I will give ✓ [28/10/2018] each group a small board. Then I will give LO (Mastered): them the question about multiplication two- digit number by one digit-number by write it on the board which they have to solve it as a group first then discuss it together.
