CHAPTER-I

Introduction of the report

Introduction

This report is about internship my internship in a period of six weeks in Hazara

Phosphate Fertilizers Company which is located in P.O.Kangra Coloney, Hattar
Road Haripur, Pakistan. This compny(HPFPL) is owned by national fertilizer
corporation of Pakistan limited.

Hazara phosphate fertilizers(private) limited is bacially a private company. The

production of this company started in 1989. During my internship in hazara
phosphate fertilizer limited I worked in Time Office for small period of time and
then I worked in Gate Reception and I keenly observed the staff working there
and I also got some experience from Way Bridge Office, HR office and I also got
opportunity to do some work and get some experience from Administration
Office as well as from Transport Office.

Background Of The Study

I took admission in comsats university Abbottabad campus in spring 2017 in the

department of BBA. After passing my 6th semester it was mandatory for me to do
internship of 6 weeks in any company either public or private limited company so
that I get to know the role of my Degree (BBA) in practical life.

Purpose and Aim

As I am a student of BBA its mandatory for me to know about what I am actually

doing and what is the role of this degree in the practical life.

As internship gives us the building blocks we need for our future career. Or we
can say that internship delivers real-world experience that make us to put
everything we’ve learned in to action. This is the reason I decided to have some
experience in my winter break instead of wasting time doing nothing at home.

Objective

As per our education system we attain our lecture in class room and practical life
is different so internship is the only bridge to balance both our academic and
practical life. Through internship we get an idea how we can use our knowledge
that we have gained through studies in practical life.

Methodology of Report

During the internship period i observed the staff working there and learned from
them the terms and condition they were using. I learned from them how to deal
with the challenges and how to make a friendly environment for employees
working there. I improved my communication skills.

Formally arranged interviews and discussion with the managers of other

departments and with the contractors also helped me to improve my skills in this
regards.

Limitations of Study

During that short period of internship they divided our work in multiple
departments because of that it was difficult for me to gain that much knowledge
in my subject of interest that is HR.

The internship period which was of 6 weeks is not enough to get much knowledge
about all the departments.

Schedule of Work

The time was from 7:30am to 4:00pm sharp in working days.
