Hi all,

At today’s Croke Park hour, we will be looking at the school’s Visual Arts
policy. To avoid children studying the same artist every year and to ensure that
there is continuity and progression in the Visual Arts curriculum from Junior
Infants to Sixth Class, we need to compile a list of artists to be studied at each
class level. This list will then be attached as an Appendix at the end of the
Visual Arts Policy document.
I have very briefly made out this table as a guide, but obviously each of you
would have a much better idea of the most relevant and interesting artist to your
class group.
The 1st artist on each list is the artist you chose to study during art week last
year.
Feel free to ignore the suggestions and come up with your own. It would be
great if you could get a chance to have a look and think about this before 3pm
so as to speed things up!
