Yes I have. I have one cat in my house. She is Mauricio. She is 7 years old. Mauricio was born in
San Francisco De Macoris and she arrived at home in 2011.

2→ How many pets are there in American approximately?


According to the video, in the United States, there are around 70 millions of dogs out there alone
that, almost each 4 people can own one.

3→ Do you agree with the way people in America treat their pets?
Yes, I do. As that county is a industrializad one, they can do another thins like that, like take care
their pets, feed them and whatever they want to do, they can deal with it. Another thing is that, the
cost of life in United State is better than Dominican Republic.

Hotels: They are offering rent pet-friendly rooms and even have room services for dogs.
Restaurants: They are offering for a cheap price a fortune cookie for dogs or a fortune dog biscuit.
Also, for the owner they only offer a candy.
Bakeries: It’s offering foods for dogs.

In Camp Hideaway is a play that your pets can go for a little vacation. Because of is almost the
same as summen camp for children.

2 What special thins does Camp Hideaway have for cats? For dogs?
It makes possible to keep your cat in a separate room with precious view throught the window to
see birds and fish. Also your cat will have lots of toys to play with.

1 Do you think Carl Gregory has a pet?


Yes, I do. Because of he said Americans are spending millions of dollars on toys. So if he said that,
then he is agree with Vera Carter’s fact.
2 Do some people travel with their pets?
Yes, they do. In this country, for example, you can see people travel with their pets.
3 Do you think Sherry Evans has children?
Well, she said that Lulu was her precious baby. So I think she doesn’t have any children. Naturally
speaking of course.
4 Is Camp Hideaway probably more expensive than dog pounds or kennels?
Umm, maybe it is. That place has too many services to offer that only riches people go there.
5 What do the name Fifi, sparky, Fluffy, Roger, and Princess refer to?
Why did the writer use them?
Those name refer to the animals that people are owner. The write maybe want to refer to them
as a beautiful o better name.

Identifying the Author's Purpose
1. Which article informs readers? What information does the author
want the readers to know?

The reading 1.
The author wants to show up the readers that they don’t need to worry about their pets. If they want
to go on vacation, they can drop their pets on a special camp that their pets will be enjoying their
life. In fact if they want to give a special birthday, they can go to a restauran for dogs.

2. Which article persuades readers? What does the author want


readers to do?

The reading 2. The author wants to show up to their readers that, if they want to go on vacation,
they can. They don’t need to worry about their pets because of there is a place know as Camp
Hideaway. It is a place when you pets can do social interation with other pets.

3. Look at Reading 1.

The author wants to show up to the readers that if they want to return the loyalty and love to their
animals give them, they only need to give them good food.

Vera carter said that for a dog or pets, the best way to pay the loyalty and love to the readers animals
they only need to give them good food.

Happy, friends, relax, enjoy, playful and pool time.

Clones are the things that they can be copy to create another one.
2. What does the company Genetic Savings and Clone do?
The company offer service to save some genetic material then as soon as your pet pase away, that
company can clone or create another exact copy of you pet by using the previous genetic material.
3. What guarantee does the company give?
The company said that the clone will be healthy and that it will look very much like the original
animal.
4. Do all pet owners want to clone their pets? Why or why not?
No they don’t. There are some of them that don’t want to clone their animal due to it can be like
losing a member of the family.
