BUDGET PROPOSAL

I. Rationale

Pursuant to R.A. 7079, also known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, and in compliance
to DepEd Order no. 47, s. 2010, entitled Guidelines on Financial Subsidy for the Conduct of
the School Press Conference, its implementing Rules and Regulation(IRR) specifically Rule IX
of Section 1.

II. Description of the Event

The Department of Education, SDOIN will hold its 2018 Division Cliniquing of Regional
Qualifiers on Campus Journalism on December 1-3, 2018 to be held at Sta. Rosa National
High School, with this year’s theme: “Fostering 21st Century Skills and Character-based
Education through Campus Journalism”.
