PRE-FINAL PHASE:
 Before a question is given, teams will be told of the specific topic, question type, and
difficulty level of said question
 Teams are then given fifteen (15) seconds to raise their flags; however, it is not
necessary for the teams to raise a flag for each question.
 Only one (1) flag can be raised per question. Flags raised after the allotted time will not
be considered.
 All the questions in the Pre-Final phase quiz bees will be read once.
 Question Was Voided - The question shall be read twice by the quiz master, as an
exception to the general rule.
 Before proceeding to the next question - allotted time of 10 seconds to raise a protest/
clarification, to request for a new marker or scratch paper, to change their calculator if
it encounters a technical problem After the allotted time has elapsed, the quizmaster
shall read the next question thus protest shall no longer be entertained.
 The Top 5pairs - Final phase

FINAL PHASE
 Top 5 pairs of each distinct quiz bee
 The Top 5 pairs shall be competing individually for the Final phase.
