Economic Questions

1.)What proof is there that the ideas practiced by the dynasty affected

the economic system?

Answer=​These things proof that the ideas of the dynasty affected the economic

system. ​The Qin divided his empire into 36 provinces. Each had two government

officials in charge of it. There had to be 2 so they could keep an eye on each other.

Then he broke the provinces into smaller districts. Each district had two people in

charge of it. And so it went. Each unit getting smaller and smaller, and each unit

reporting to the one above it. The Qin’s dynasty was the first empire on ancient

China. The types of jobs that people had are ​soldiers, blacksmiths, miners, tailors,

Scholar, Craftsman, priests, sword or weapon maker,and scribe or farmers.

Blacksmith is person that work on metal. Miner is a person that work on digging gold.

Tailor is a person who make clothes. Scholar is a teacher. Sword or weapon maker

is a person that make sword and weapon and the farmer or scribe is a person who

do hard work. People in that time trade silk as the main thing, but they also trade art,

food, and weapons. They trade them with many countries near them such as; India

and Persia. are another main thing that proof the affected of the dynasty idea. In

that time, there is not many new technology improve. People invent some new things

such as; man-made waterway canals, set standardizing weights and measures,

travel and communication improve, but they don’t really focus on that stuff. They

focus on defense technology more than art. The government force farmers to build

the great-wall of China to defense other countries and use their taxes for the

material. They choose to force all of these thing to farmer because farmer are the
most population in the social structure. This show that people aren’t treated equally.

And the attacking happen because the treated of the idea of the dynasty was not

good enough and it make the economic become weak.

2.)How did the ideas the dynasty had affect people's jobs and economic

status at the different levels of society?

Answer=​The Qin divided his empire into 36 provinces. Each had two government

officials in charge of it. The social classes in this society are ​Emperor, Shenshi,

Peasant, Worker, Artist, Merchants, Soldier. What classes people are in depend on

the benefit that they gave to the country. The more benefit that you give to the

society, the higher classes you are in but it is not the same as the amount of money,

higher class doesn’t mean that you will get more money. People can’t really move

their classes because of the strict law and as you get higher level, the law is more

strict, so it’s hard to move classes. Some classes aren’t treat equally like farmer.

Farmers aren’t treat good.They are at the middle of the social structure but they were

treated worse than the lower classes. They were forced to build the great wall of

China and their taxes were so high.The government use the farmers’ taxes for the

material that use to build the wall and they choses to force these to farmers because

farmer has the most population in all the classes.

Political Questions

3.)What proof is there that the ideas practiced by the dynasty affected

the political system?

Answer=​The Qin unified the country by himself, when he was 22 years old. He

unified many provinces into one country because he got a full control on that time.
This explain he known name “The Qin Shi Huang Di” means the first only emperor.

After that, ​the Qin divided his empire into 36 provinces. Each had two government

officials in charge of it. ​The Qin Shi Huang Di rule is an authoritarian. He appoint

land to people that he want. Not like in Zhou dynasty,he give land to his family and

the land were divided in his family. Qin has this ideas because he don’t want anyone

in his family to have more power than him at all. He also use the same currency in all

around China for easy to do trading. He has his favourite hobby that is burns book.

He burned books because he think that the information in all of those books might be

used to fight against him and his government. The governments have the power in

their in charged provinces. They send a censer around China to watch the people in

the country to make sure that people are following the laws of the Qin. These laws

were made by the Qin Shi Huang Di and they aren’t treated equally.If they see that

you don’t follow the law they will go tell the highest government and the king, then

you will get a harsh punishment, people are scared of the censer. These law help

people stay doing the good and correct thing. After the Qin died, the Qin dynasty

also died. The rules were gone. Then the Han dynasty rise, Liu Bng was the person

that created Han dynasty and he was the first farmer that can created dynasty.

4.)How did the political ideas of the dynasty affect people in the different

social classes?

Answer=​Political idea of the dynasty is the legalism. Legalism is a strict law

punishment. The Qin ruler created this idea because the view of the people in his

empire are bad and kind of lazy. He has opinion on the people in negative way, so
the idea of the legalism is created. This idea is similar to the Hammurabi code. The

person that were practiced in the government were basically the people that own

some lands which mean they were rich so they are in the upper classes and this

make they able to participate in government.Since people are treated with static law

much more than people from outside of the China,this make they think that they are

bad. The Qin also punished people who used religions such as

Confucianism(another religion) because they felt that the Confucianism form a

thinking of danger to his government.

Social Questions

5.)How did the economic situation or decisions made by the government

affect the different social classes?

Answer=​In that time the economic were rich and there was a high number of

population so some classes divided. Then these created more social classes not like

in the Zhou dynasty that were less. The top 3 levels of the social structure are the

government which the laws were more strict than the lower levels. In that time farmer

were effect too because they were forced to do more hard work than the other. .

Another important fact is in that time was that women had no rights. Women were

forced to marry in early age and have children.

6.)How were the ideas of the dynasty shown in the arts and technology?

Answer=​In this dynasty, the Qin ruled for just a short time so there is not much arts

and technology developed. Their writing style was called calligraphy. This writing is
so beautiful and elegant. People use this writing to express some ideas and also use

to create some arts too. One of the art that is created is the Chinese Terracotta Army

The Qin made for his own death, the purpose was to protect the emperor in his

afterlife. When he was died his body was burned there. Some technology that were

developed are the great wall that help protect the enemies, the silk road that help

Trading easily and quicker, the coin currency that help trading less complicated and

the learning of standard unit of measure help the economy ran much smoother.
