Ourselves comparative table

By Edison Ivan Lopera

Our Limitations
Author Intension
We all have limits, the ability that each one to overcome them
is the challenge that we have, in the construction of our own
theory; limits that we see, hear, remember, think and learn.
Main concepts
Limits to Perception
We are not capable to assimilate everything we see at all
times, our mind is not able to assimilate so many images and
words quickly, if we want to better understand we have to see
things one at a time.
Limits to Attention
We can never be aware of everything going around us;
attention doesn’t stay in one place very long, dance around
continuously changing, focus several times a second.
Attention has two compensatory advantages; The first is that
our attention gets to work immediately, the second is that
anything you are rehearsing in attention is available to you
immediately.
Limits of Remembering
Involves reorganizing particular aspects of our current state of
knowledge for particular porpoises.
Limits to Learning
To learn anything, we must do much more than simply apply
ourselves to a learning task. The principal is identify with
people who already have to the same desires skills or
knowledge.
Limits to Thinking
People have different limits that they stop their production to
think; these abstract concepts are those that do not allow that
we can do anything we imagine or express with the thought.
Our mind is wide and bright only our limits prevent better
develop.
Limits to looking Ahead
Only human imagination leaps freely into the past or the
future, and its digressions from the present are more
spontaneous than planned. We don’t planning very well.
Limits to Certainty
Everything decision you make involves a possibility of error.
The confidence you will put in being right depends on the
embarrassment or sanctions you could suffer by being wrong.
Nothing in life is certain, including certainty itself.
Conclusions
study the limitations of students, their cognitive ability is the
purpose of the teachers, we are creative, smart, but are not
perfect, we have boundaries; We remember only what they
didn't do in the past. higher mental functions; attention,
perception, memory, thinking, and language. all these tools
are in the service of learning, if one of them fails, the learning
process ends.
Our Differences
Author Intension
It would be impossible to find two people, even identical twins,
with exactly the same person of
knowledge,skills,habits,interest,values,hopes,fears,tastes,deli
ghts, it would be impossible to find two people who think in
exactly the same way.
Many can be these differences related to the experience, to
our histories and also to the prejudices of as the persons are
categorized to build our own theory of the world.
Main concepts
A Psychological Frame UP
In psychology to classify people into types and styles these
biggest differences attributed to people intelligent, this styles
are called too traits.
Field dependent: is the information from outside world,
associate with the reality.
Field independent: is ignore the field dependent, is a world of
fantasy; is determinated their beliefs.
The Trade in Traits
The personal characteristics of the human behavior, are the
main key to use stereotypes with the persons around us. We
categorize these behavior traits to choose our friendships and
relationships.
In search of Intelligent
We are intelligent of one or another form when we solve some
problem, or we look for the best option to solve or to create
something. Depending on the context in which we move we
are intelligent or depending on the performance of tasks or
professions in which we to play role in society.
Conclusions
Whenever we speak of differences, the problem is the other
person, we are the result of life in society, we do not accept
the differences in others; always see the negative traits,
physical defects which makes it different to create stereotypes
and categories. Prejudices are the key, while more different it
is rejected or discriminated against the person.
Not categorize, not classified the student; organize classes
according to cultural diversity, learning styles ; there are
students more auditory, other visual other manuals but find
that style that will allow to develop intelligence in the students.
Our Stupidities
Author Intension
We are not stupid why we want; there are the acts and the
conducts those that categorize us in the society like idiots or
fools. These behaviors are value prejudices for other persons.
Main concepts
The Extent of Stupidity
Stupidity is not described as being intelligent, but rather as
showing inhuman behaviors one is not stupid, but instead our
actions are.
Some Common Justifications
I`ll begin whit a pair of attitudes that are usually found together
–discrimination and stereotyping. We can then see how
prejudice may be a natural consequence of discrimination and
that prejudice leads inevitably to intolerance, which is the
underlying basis of all senseless facts stupid acts.
Discrimination
The simple act of discrimination itself is necessary and
objection able behavior. But the world has acquired negative
connotations because exclusionary attitudes are often
directed toward a particular group, when this discrimination
becomes in discriminations against.
Stereotyping
Generalization attribute; everyone is different, but we
stereotype people because we can`t deal with or think of
everyone in different ways.
Prejudice
The prejudice they give the traits, the biases that we have for
others, the negative aspect.
Intolerance
Is a social phenomenon is a result in both an increase and
decrease in sensitivity.
Conclusions
Be stupid or not is something that is not by our own will,
society imposes its rules and discriminate makes prejudice,
stereotypes of behavior and this gives as a result the
intolerance the wrath of the human being against others. All
this in education for the teacher is cultural constructions.
