CHAPTER 3

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This chapter present the methods that is being used in the study. It is also to determine

the subject and responders of the study, this instrument showed that the procedure of the data.

Research Design

A quantitative approach is used in this research design. And a survey research is

conducted in this study. The survey is used to collect data for describing the effect of colored

paper in reading comprehension on student. And the subject are being required to complete the

information they give to the researchers.

Research Responders

In this study the researcher used Experimental Research because the responders are

being chosen based on their knowledge. The researchers decided to used true experimental

design because the study is based on the cause and effect of colored paper in reading

comprehension.

Research Instrument

This study aided by the use of these tools:

Questionnaire

 After the formulation of the research question /hypothises and the next step of the

research is to collect data.

 The researchers used this instrument to gather data and this also is a guidance for the

responders in what they to answer. This instrument is used to question the respondents to get the

needed information and data needed this study.

Research Procedure

The researchers plan and decide for the topic and brainstormed to come up for the use

full outputs. The researchers has chosen the site of Notre Dame Academy, SHS Department for

they believe that it would a great help and contribute to the students in this site.

For the gathering of data, a letter called weaver is given to the principal of the Notre

Dame Academy SHS Department and to be signed in order to perform and experiment and a

gathering of data in respective areas. When the weaver is granted the researchers will start the

experiment to b e able to gather data for the research. The experiment paper contains questions

that mainly focuses about the study that being conducted which is the effect of colored paper in

reading comprehension on student. The researchers will also inform the respondents on what is

the possible outcome in this research and the study will end on gathering the students will

combine the data synthesize them to form a output for the making of conclusions and also the

possible solution and recommendation of the problem.
