IRR 1.0
General Background

The Baliuag University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - Sinagraya aims


to integrate its members to foster the culture of its core values which are diverse
conceptions towards innovative transcendence to uphold the legacy of BUJPIA. In line
with this, the council will conduct this year’s most awaited annual general assembly to
relive the camaraderie and wholesome competitiveness of BUJPIA members. This event
will once again expose the talents of every BUJPIAn to further enhance their individuality
through experiences other than accounting.

IRR 2.0
General Objectives

1. To establish a bond with every member to achieve one unified BUJPIA.


2. To build camaraderie and goodwill to every BUJPIAn.
3. To showcase the talents and increase the interest of JPIANs in non-academic
activities.

IRR 3.0
General Guidelines

The Annual General Assembly shall have the following activities:


1. OnRepeat: Let’s Get Lyrical
2. Grupo on the Beat ver. 3.0
3. Etheria: The Epic Hunter’s Story

IRR 4.0
Qualifications and Requirements

The following qualifications and requirements are to effect for all the contests and
activities:
1. Participants should be a bona fide member of Baliuag University Junior Philippine
Institute of Accountants.

2. There is no limit as to the number of events which a member can join as long as
there is no conflict with the schedule of the activities he/she wants to participate.
If in case there is a conflict, the participant should choose what activity he/she will
join.
3. The participants’ sheet for Non-Academics Activities shall be passed on or before
March 16, 2019.

IRR 5.0
Contest Rules and Mechanics
GENERAL

1. Contestants are advised to be at the designated place at least 30 minutes before


the time schedule.
2. Contestants must be properly registered and sign the attendance sheet before
proceeding to the competition proper.
3. Board of Judges shall be selected by the BUJPIA Council and shall have the
appropriate credentials to judge a particular event. The Board of Judges shall be
independent in fact and in appearance, thus, shall not be directly or closely related
to any block to maintain the integrity of the competitions.
4. The Board of Judges has the sole and exclusive authority to clear or answer any
protest/clarification related to the judging of a particular event raised by the
contestants. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
5. All concerns, clarifications, complaints or questions must be directly addressed to
the Vice-President for Non-Academics after the competition by the unit head. Any
concerns. Clarifications, complaints or questions raised by any member other than
the unit head shall not be entertained.
6. The Council shall have the exclusive power to interpret the provisions of the IRR
and shall be vested with the power to give sanctions to any contestants who shall
violate any provisions in this IRR.

OnRepeat: Let’s Get Lyrical

OnRepeat: Let’s Get Lyrical is a group singing competition. It will showcase the
singing prowess of BUJPIAn contestants.

1. Each block shall only be allowed to send one group with at least five members.
2. Each group shall select one Hollywood singer they prefer. They shall have
different Hollywood singer designation. The singer that will be designated in
each group will be based on a first reservation basis. Thus, the group who first
notified the council on their selected singer will have the first priority over the
artist.
3. Each group must only use songs from the Hollywood singer they have selected.
The songs must be at least four songs.
4. In case the songs to be used have explicit content, the group shall remove the
portion of the song with explicit contents.
5. The groups are allowed to use minus one in their performance.
6. Use of musical instruments are allowed provided that the group will inform
the organizers days prior the event or upon submission of participants’ sheet.
Any musical instrument and accompaniment must be provided by the group
who will use it. The council is not obligated to provide any instrument for the
group if such is the case.
7. Each group shall make their own arrangement/mash-up of their chosen songs.
8. Each group is required to bring one wireless microphone. Non-compliance
with this shall demerit the group three-point deduction.
9. Each group shall be given a minimum of four minutes and a maximum of six
minutes to perform, which includes the entrance and exit.
10. There shall be an automatic five-point deduction from the total average score
if the group exceeds six minutes and there shall be five-point deduction from
the total average score for every minute in excess of six minutes.
11. Use of choreography is highly encouraged.
12. Use of props and costumes to enhance the performance of the group shall be
allowed if they deem it necessary. However, it should be wholesome and
pleasant to the eye. Use of pyrotechnics, live animals, explosive materials,
liquid materials and any other materials that may damage the venue is strictly
prohibited.

13. The criteria for judging are as follows:

Voice Quality 30%


Technique, Execution and Timing 25%
Transition from one song to another 15%
Pronunciation and Lyrics Mastery 10%
Harmony and Appeal 10%
Stage Presence and Costume 5%
Audience Impact 5%
Total 100%

14. The top three highest pointers shall be declared as the 1st place, 2nd place and
3rd place respectively.

Grupo on the Beat ver. 3.0

Grupo on the Beat ver. 3.0 is a dance competition wherein each group will perform
a dance through the beat of the three songs of their choice remixed with the
uniform song provided by the council.

1. Each block shall be allowed to send one group, composed of 6-10 members.
2. Each group shall select three songs which they will use to remix with the
uniform song provided by the council.
3. The songs that the group will use must be submitted in accordance to the date
given by the council through USB flash drive.
4. Each group shall be given a minimum of five minutes and a maximum of seven
minutes to perform, which includes the entrance and exit. There shall be an
automatic five-point deduction from the total average score if the group will
perform less than five minutes or exceeds seven minutes and there shall be
five-points deduction from the total average score for every minute in excess
of seven minutes.
5. Use of props and costumes to enhance the performance of the group shall be
allowed if they deem it necessary. However, it should still be wholesome and
pleasant to the eye. Use of pyrotechnics, live animals, explosive materials,
liquid materials and any other materials that may damage the venue is strictly
prohibited.

6. The chosen songs to be used should not contain any explicit contents. If any,
the group will be given a three-point deduction.
7. The council discourages the participating group to perform dangerous and life-
threatening stunts. The council is not liable for any injuries that may happen
during their performance.
8. The criteria for judging are as follows:

Choreography 40%
Originality 30%
Stage Presence, Costumes and Props 20%
Audience Impact 10%
Total 100%

9. The top three highest pointers shall be declared as the 1st place, 2nd place and
3rd place respectively.

Etheria: The Epic Hunter’s Story

Etheria: The Epic Hunter’s Story is a video making contest that shows how your block
works on a daily basis.

1. Each block is allowed to send only one entry for this contest. There is no limitation
on the numbers of members who will join the contest as long as they will come
from the same block.
2. Each block will create a video clip with a length minimum of four minutes and a
maximum of seven minutes.
3. There is no specific theme for the story of the video as long as it contains the daily
routine of the block.
4. The video must not contain any subliminal, sexually suggestive or vulgar words or
actions. Pointed actions shall merit a deduction of five-points from the total
average score.
5. There shall be an automatic three-point deduction from the total average score if
the group does not comply with the range of time given.
6. The video file must be submitted in accordance to the date given by the council
and it should be submitted through USB flash drive. In line with its posting to the

LOVE reactions which will be form part of the overall scores of each participant.
7. The criteria for judging are as follows:

Relevance of the Story 30%


Production 30%
Originality 20%
Entertainment Factor and Total Impact 10%
Number of Facebook LOVE Reactions 10%
Total 100%

8. The top three highest pointers shall be declared as the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd
place respectively.
