Pre-Operation Checks (TBB)

Safety Consideration:
Always lock out the electrical power before working on the sifter.

c Before starting the machine, open the sifter. Remove the sieves and completely clean the sifter and sieves.
This will ensure that foreign matter has not contaminated the sifter during shipping or installation. See the
Sieve Removal section of this manual for instructions on how to perform this procedure.

c Reassemble the machine. Make sure the trays are properly installed in the sieve frames. The Sieve
Replacement section of this manual includes instructions on how to perform this procedure.

c Manually rotate the machine and ensure that the machine turns freely and that there are no obstructions. The
Removing, Adjusting, and Maintaining the Tie-Bar section of this manual includes instructions on how to
perform and troubleshoot this procedure.
