Corporation, I felt compelled to submit my resumé for consideration. As a recent communications
graduate from Arizona State University with a background in broadcast arts, I am confident that I could
outperform your expectations for this role. As a longtime viewer of Fox12 and subscriber of various
other offerings from parent company Meredith Corporation, I am extremely familiar with your
unparalleled high-quality content and focus on consumer-oriented programming and advertiser
messaging. I believe my unique pulse on current events, extreme comfort with social media, exceptional
communication skills, and experience with both writing and shooting news productions make me the
ideal candidate for this role.

In addition to completing advanced coursework in both the communications and journalism disciplines
to receive my bachelor’s degree, I also attended Specs Howard School of Media Arts where I had
extensive training with curating content for, writing, producing, shooting, and directing news
productions and features. Additionally, while attending Specs Howard, my passion for editing led me to
an internship at Milagro Post, a fast-paced post-production facility. While eagerly assisting there, I
performed an assortment of diverse tasks, including assisting the creative process of content, graphic
design, welcoming and tending to clients, sitting in on editing sessions, and communicating with various
teams. I also have extensive experience in marketing, data entry, and clerical responsibilities.

With my proven experience in leading the composition, assignment, and delivery of news and
information, I am positioned to significantly contribute to your team at KPTV-KPDX Broadcasting
