Power Requirement
Limestone size ranges from 10 to 200 mm but the average size of limestone feed in a jaw
crusher is 90 mm. In the primary crushing stage, the feed is reduced to less than 20 mm for the
next crushing stage which is milling (Alsop et.al, 2007). Bond’s crushing law was used to calculate
the power requirement of the jaw crusher.
