    Sutan Syahrir was born in 1909 in West Sumatra and studied in Bandung. He was one of the founders of a nationalist youth organization in 1927 and joined the political party PNI in 1931. Syahrir was appointed as Indonesia's first prime minister in 1945 and held that role until 1947 when he stepped down. He passed away in 1966 in Switzerland from a stroke.

    YEARS EVENTS

    5 March 1909 Sutan syahris was born in Padang Panjang, Sumatera barat.

    1926 Sutan syahrir was finished him studies at mulo and proceed at AMS high school
    in Bandung.

    1927 Sutan syahrir was included in the ten founders of the establishment of
    nationalist youth, jong indonesie.
    1931 Sutan syahrir was joined in political organization, PNI

    1933 Sutan syahrir was appointed of the indonesian workers’ congress

    14 November 1945 Sutan syahrir was appointed as the first prime minister of indonesian

    26 Juny 1946 Sutan syahrir was kidnapped in surakarta by a group of youth

    3 July 1947 Sutan syahrir was down from the post of prime minister

    9 April 1966 Sutan syahrir was pass away in Zurich, Swiss because of stroke.
