I. RATIONALE:

Child - Friendly School System aims to develop a learning environment in which children are
motivated and able to learn. It ensures every child an environment that is physically safe,
emotionally secure and psychologically enabling. It also encourages children’s participation in
school and community.

Bais City Pilot School encourages the pupils to participate in community service by extending
help to our City like doing a clean up drive. Since, Bais City has just finished celebrating the
fiesta on this time. Definitely, plastics, candy wrappers,papers, barbecue sticks, and etc. are
spreading everywhere. As we know that, one of the objectives also of our City is to maintain a
clean and green society.This is of course, to make Baisanon free from pollution and live a healthy
life. It is so timely at this time, that the selected pupils from Bais City Pilot School including
some teachers who will help facilitate these pupils to do some cleaning particularly at the City
ballfield, and in front of the City Hall. We are very sure that this little help from our pupils as
well as the teachers to our City will enable lessen the waste from our environment.
II. OBJECTIVES:

Encourage pupils to get involved in community work


Develop Civic consciousness of the pupils
Teach the pupils to segregate garbage
III. METHODOLOGY:

Conduct a conference meeting to the committee with the Child – Friendly School System
Coordinator for suggestions, final planning and preparations.
IV. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:

Submission of activity design to the office of the School Principal for the final approval of
the activity.
Pupils and Teachers Clean Up Drive at Bais City Ballfield, and In front of the City Hall
