Fighter – (Mercenary, Brigadier, Gladiator, or Soldier)

Available Races: Archai, Dwarf, Ogre, Human, Halfling, Elf, and Skar

Lore: Fighters have been around since the dawn of time. Many of their victories ended from the
swing of their blade. In the darkest hours of Terminus, it is often the fighter that has rescued
the people against the onslaught of The Revenant. But do not mistake their motivations. They
swear allegiance to one thing. The fight. The fight fuels them. It owns them. Every waking
thought and action is poured out as a drive to their relentless pursuit of perfection in the art of
battle. No one can be certain what happens to the mind of a person when they are caught
within the violence of battle for the first time. Some experience the haunting fear of their own
death. Others see battle as a means to an end, or a political cause set in motion. But rare is the
individual who sees battle and feels a deep, unquenchable thirst. A thirst for glory. A maniacal
desire to prove their worth to themselves and anyone watching. These individuals see war as
beauty, as perfection, as art. They are the Fighters of Terminus.

Description: The Fighter is a fast and versatile war veteran that focus primarily on damage and
can partly off-tank. Adaptability is their biggest asset. Fighters adapt their fighting style for each
battle using an extremely diverse set of weapon types which all provide benefits to match the
situation at hand. However, fighters do have a hard time managing aggro because of their
impressive damage output. And they cannot take the same blows consistently as a pure tank.
To be an effective fighter you must constantly be active and thinking multiple steps ahead to
balance your DPS and survivability. While your potential is high, your resource is limited. Use
them properly and you’ll achieve the glory you seek.

Class Role: DPS, Support

Weapons: All types- The Fighter has great skills in all weaponry however specializes in three
different types; One-hand and shield, Duel wielding, and Two-Handed weapons.

Armor: Partial Plate- Chest and shoulders only. The fighter believes in only wearing partial
plate because, it maximizes their mobility while providing much needed protection in battle.

Combat Resource: Stamina-The Fighter unleashes his attacks and abilities through his Stamina
which starts full and depletes as he uses it. His Stamina regenerates naturally back in combat
but at a slow rate however, some abilities raise it back faster. His stamina regenerates faster
out of combat.
Featured Abilities
Mule Kick (knockback) - You kick your enemy with force causing X% chance to knockback. Generates
Stamina

Disarm (disarm) - You have X% chance to disarm your enemy leaving them without a weapon for Y
duration. Target must have weapon and this ability does not work on epic target. Generates Stamina.

It’s all in the Hilt (stun) - You attack your enemy with the handle of your weapon with X% chance to stun
them for Y seconds.

Gladiator’s Net (snare) - You throw a battle net over your target snaring them for X duration. Generates
Stamina

Long Jump (utility/chase) - You leap an abnormally far distance forward. May be used in and out of
combat.

Overcomer (instant) - You fight through the fatigue of battle gaining Stamina back for each attack. Lasts
for X duration.

Combat Arts (buff) - You raise an ally’s attack speed by X% for Y minutes.

Fighting Spirit (group buff) - You inspire your group members to fight exceptionally better, increasing
their Parry, Block, Dodge by X% for a Y duration.

Weapons Specialist (passive) - You learn to fight with all weapons naturally faster than others.

Mark of the Challenged (target) - Epic Ability. You mark your target as your mortal enemy and challenge
them to martial combat. Any attack you land on them for the next X seconds reduces their armor by 2%.
This effect can stack up to 5 times each however, each attack increases their hatred towards you by
double. Adds modifier: Target takes increased damage if stunned, disoriented, immobilized, knock
downed, or bleeding for the duration.

Underdog (passive) - Epic Passive Ability. You are on your last leg of life and will not go down without a
fight. When your life falls to X% your max health increases, all abilities reset, and your cooldowns are
reduced in half.

Battle States – (Only one state active at a time.)


Ferocity (instant) - You grow with a hateful rage attacking the enemy with increased Critical Hit Chance
and Attack Speed. Lasts X seconds.

Heart of the Lion (instant) - The fighter strikes up amazing courage embracing the heart of a lion gaining
increased Health and Stamina for X seconds.
Perfectionist (instant) - The fighter focuses on his target with great precision, rarely missing his target
and parrying incoming attacks for a short time. Increases your Hit Chance and Parry Chance by X% for Y
seconds.

Combat Ecstasy (instant) - You become exhilarated by your love for combat increasing your desire to
fight better and enhancing your performance for a short time. Your Strength and Dexterity are increased
for X seconds.

Fighting Styles

One-Hand Weapon and Shield – (requires shield)

Sword and Board (passive) - You are a master fighter with a one-handed weapon and shield. You
naturally gain increased Constitution and Stamina.

Shield Bash (aoe stun) - You bash your enemy(s) in front of you with your shield damaging and
stunning them for X seconds.

Stalwart (channel) - You take a defensive stance covering all vital body parts with your shield
and mitigate 40% of all incoming damage for X second and reflecting Y% damage back at the
attacker. You cannot attack or move in this position.

Forgotten Shield (team) - The Fighter joins the Warrior(s) in his party and answers their call to
aid. This ability allows you to link up with Warrior(s) to perform the Wall of Shield’s ability and
boosts everyone’s health while linked.

Duel Wielding – (requires two One-Handed weapons)

Two’s Better Than One (passive) - You are a blood thirsty expert fighting with two weapons
gaining increased Dexterity and Critical Hit Chance however, your Strength is slightly reduced.
Requires Two One-Handed Weapons

Wilful Advantage (instant) - After you land a critical strike, you gain the advantage in combat.
Your attack speed increases for X seconds and leave your target vulnerable to Physical damage
for Y seconds.

Boomerang Blows (dps ranged) - You throw your weapons at your enemy with increased
damage pulling them back to you and slowing their movement speed for a short time.

Ravage (aoe, dot) - You swing your weapons in a fan shaped motion in front of you dealing high
damage and inflicting bleeding on target(s) for a short time. This ability is based on your current
Dexterity.

Two-Hand Weapon – (requires Two-Handed weapon)

Big Stick (passive) - You are a brave executioner with two handed weapons granting increased
Strength and Critical Hit damage. Requires Two-Handed Weapon
Hateful Friend (active) - While active you lower your treat by X%.

Bastard Swing (aoe, dot) - You swing your weapon in a sweeping motion in front of you dealing
high AoE damage and inflicts bleeding on target(s). The damage increase is based on your
current strength.

Overkill (dps, nuke) - You take 2 seconds to swing your weapon overhead with a devastating
blow dealing X% more damage and Y% chance to critical strike. This ability cannot be
interrupted.

Melee Abilities
Maim (debuff) - You maim your target causing their attack speed to fall for a short time. Generates
Stamina.

Bludgeon (knockdown) - You crush your enemy’s skull knocking them down for a few seconds.
Generates Stamina.

Sting (dps, nuke) - You attack with your weapon(s) in a unique way plunging them into your foe with
increased damage and a chance to proc a unique attack modifier. Adds Unique Attack Modifier: Pure
Damage

Whirlwind (dps, aoe) - You spin with whirling attacks hitting enemies all around you within a certain
distance with high aoe damage and a chance to proc a unique attack modifier. Adds Unique Attack
Modifier: critical hit damage
