Dear Hiring Manager,

I am applying for the Team Member position that you have posted through Indeed. As
someone who has been involved with the gym culture for over three years, I am most
certainly qualified for the position, and can bring the outgoing, fun, yet top-notch
production that you are seeking.

Now, although I have not previously worked at a gym, I have worked at other companies
that have provided me with the skills to take on this position and succeed. Both of my
previous jobs were heavily based on great customer service, so with that being said, I
know how to communicate with customers and respectfully handle certain situations. I
dealt with children, teenagers, adults, and parents, making me a great people person. I
have dealt with a variety of customers, which helped build my communication skills,
which then allowed me to make the workplace fun and exciting for every customer that
walked through the door.

I would be able to make in impact at the workplace immediately due to the skills I have
acquired from my previous work experience, and because I have surrounded myself
within the gym environment for years. Due to this, I am familiar with how a gym runs
and how to properly keep customers happy, which in turn, will lead to growth in the
company.

I am currently studying nutrition at the University of New Mexico, so to say that I am

interested in the physical and mental well being of others is an understatement. I have
kept a 3.2 GPA throughout my two years at UNM, and I plan on joining the nutrition club
this year to help give me a head start on my career path.
