2 Evidence: Life from a wheelchair

• What does Ashley do to make a living?

She is a communications student. She spent her life between her university, her friend and her
family. If he had not had aspirations to overcome his disability, he would not have been happy.

• How does your condition affect your daily activities and how do you handle it?

Being a person with a disability is a difficult condition for many people. If your university was not
fully qualified on campus with a disability, your life will be affected by daily activities.

• What is your attitude towards life? Do you feel incapacitated by certain activities?

Ashley is open-minded. She does not believe that her abilities are affected by her condition. She
has a positive person. Although he had to deal with many obstacles, he never gave up until he
achieved his goals.

• How would your life be different if you had a disability and you had to use a wheelchair?

I consider myself an active and independent person and instead of receiving help, I like to help. If I
were disabled I would still fight

• How do you react when you have to interact with a disabled person?

I can assume different roles with a disabled person. If I have to help, I'll do it with pleasure.

• How can you contribute to improving the lives of people with disabilities?

I am a kind person, I will help to understand these people. If I have a positive attitude, they will
see life in a positive way. If I share time with them, they will understand that they are important
for society.
