DepEd EXPECTED GRADUATE ATTRIBUTES

Molding the Filipino students who are Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan and Makabansa through a
Learner-centered, teaching-learning process and a child friendly, safe and conducive learning
environment.

Makabansa
1. Obeys the laws of our country by simply following rules and regulations.
2. Enjoys living in a democratic country by developing a sense of responsibility by performing our duties
and obligations as citizens.
3. Expresses pride and confidence in properly singing our national anthem and respecting our flag.
4. Patronizes Filipino products and services.
5. Appreciates the beauty of the Philippines by visiting the country's tourist spots, historical heritage and
museums.
6. Recognizes the meaning and value of the different Philippine Symbols and culture.

Maka-kalikasan
1. Practices consistently proper waste disposal.
2. Uses energy wisely by turning off electrical devices that are not in use.
3. Encourages people to be environmentally sensitive by spreading awareness through the use of 5Rs
(reduce, reuse, recycle, refuse and restore).
4. Participates actively in preserving and conserving the environment through planting trees, observing
earth hour and protecting wildlife.
5. Recognizes and values the environment for them and the next generations by avoiding burning of
garbage, cutting trees and observing rules and regulations in ecopark.

MAKA-TAO
1. Values people's rights regardless of who they are and what they have by treating persons with
disabilities as normal individuals.
2. Respects other's beliefs, traditions and culture, idea and opinions by being open minded and not
being ethnocentric.
3. Participates actively in Community Service.
4. Fosters cooperation in accomplishing a particular task.
5. Shares experiences or practices which are worthy of emulation.

MAKA-DIYOS
1. Treats others like their brothers to show love and reverence to the Heavenly Father.
2. Serves as an advocate of the teachings of the Lord by living and practicing them.
3. Acts as an instrument of God's love by being generous to those in need.
4. Shows love and respect to oneself as it serves as the temple of the Lord.
5. Engages in an open and regular communication with the Lord through prayers and meditations.
