Dear Hiring Committee:

From very early on, it was evident that Brianna Bartlik was meant to be an educator. She has a
presence in the classroom that is kind, patient and loving. Additionally, she is responsible,
flexible, and reflective. What stood out to me during her observation and student teaching in my
seventh grade English classroom was her wonderful job of understanding and organizing the
subject matter for student learning.

It is clear that Brianna knows her students and incorporates appropriate strategies to meet their
learning needs. She continuously assesses student progress and keeps them on track and focused.
Her expectations are clear and the many scaffolds incorporated into her lessons support student
learning. On many occasions, she has spent time during lunch to assist struggling students.
Because of Brianna's dedication, her students are equipped to complete the learning goals.

Brianna continues to develop as an educator by constantly reflecting on her teaching practices

and incorporating different methods to improve student learning. She is always open minded and
willing to try new processes in order grow. Furthermore, she deeply cares for, truly respects, and
exhibits fairness toward all students. She is a responsible teacher who desires for her students to
succeed in all aspects of their lives.

In addition, Brianna is task oriented, well organized, and meets deadlines. Also, she loves
grading, which enables her to quickly assess and analyze student growth; she routinely organizes
and modifies curriculum to facilitate understanding.

Brianna Bartlik is a pleasure to work with. I trust that she will continue to flourish as an educator
because she is not afraid to ask questions, is eager to learn, and adapts to change. I recommend
