Interests: Personal Growth

Who am I now?

1. Describe a hobby or interest, either in school or outside of school, that you have spent time
developing this year. (​Some examples: gaming, art, music, dance, writing, photography,
construction, building engines, hunting, having your own YouTube channel, etc.​ )
A hobby I have is sports. It takes place in and outside of school. I dedicate a lot of time to the
sports I play year round . I spend hours a week playing for school teams and traveling teams.

2. What do you like about this particular hobby or interest?

I like this hobby because it keeps be busy, in shape, and I am with my friends a majority of the
time. It is also a lot of fun when I play sports

3. What kinds of skills have you developed or practiced via this hobby/interest?
I have developed many skills over time. I have learned skills for certain sports and I have also
learned to be patient.

4. How has this hobby or interest challenged you to grow?

This hobby has challenged me to grow. I have needed a lot of patience over time and I bettered
that skill because I am usually impatient.

5. If someone else told you they were interested in pursuing the same hobby or interest, what
advice would you give them? I would tell them that it is a lot of fun but you really have to put in
lots of work, time, and dedication.

6. What connections can you make between this hobby/interest and the life you want to have for
yourself in the future? In other words, do you see this hobby or interest continuing? Is it related
to any career interests? Ten years from now, do you think you’ll still be engaged in this hobby or
interest? Explain.
I really would like to see this hobby continuing, I hope it continues for me for a long time. If I
could use this as a career interest I think it'd be really cool and i hope I would go far with it. In
ten years I hope I am still active and playing sports, maybe even for a team.
