REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION for Quality Circle Head

Quality Circle Head supervises the QC Members and ensures the delivery of quality instruction
of a particular subject aligned with the DepEd K to 12 Minimum Learning Competencies (MLC) from
Grades 1 to 12.

I. SUBMISSION OF OBPES (Outcome-Based Performance Evaluation System)

A. Writes daily work journal
B. Submits evidence folder
C. Submits OBPES spreadsheet

II. MAIN FUNCTIONS

A. Academic/Instructional Leader (Delegated Functions)
1. Corrects and rates the crafted/updated Learning Plan Stages 1, 2 & 3 &
Academic Requirements of the QC Members
a. Enhanced copy of Stages 1, 2 & 3
b. Final copy of Stage 2
c. Enriched copy of Stages 1, 2 & 3
d. Consolidated QC compliance on UbD Stages 1, 2 & 3
e. Test Bank
f. Table of Specifications and Periodical Test Questions
g. Class Records
h. Grading Sheets
i. Analysis of the Subject Grade Components

B. Monitoring
1. Monitors the daily class attendance and punctuality of the QC Members in
their respective classes and assigns substitute for the absentee teacher.
2. Submits weekly report on QC members’ attendance in the class.
3. Corrects and rates the Daily Journal entries of the QC Members.
4. Corrects and rates OBPES (Evidence Folder & Spreadsheet) of the QC
Members.

C. Troubleshooting/Intervention
1. Identifies and resolves the problems/issues/concerns/conflicts within the
QC.

D. QC Related Activities
1. Participates and wins at least one (1) major Inter-school Competition (at
least top 5).
2. Sponsors one (1) subject-related _______________major school activity.
