1.Introduction
This mandate enforces that the faculty should submit the course file as per the given
deadline with the specified format.
The process specifies the preparation of the course file with details to be incorporated
for the various items of the course file and should cover all aspects of teaching learning
process, evaluation of students’ performance and steps taken for continuous
improvement.
2. Course file preparation and submission
The faculty should prepare the course file one month before the beginning of the
semester.
The main categories of course file should include the detailed coverage on
o Course outcomes and mapping to program outcomes
o Lesson plan, course materials, quiz, test and assignments as approved by IQAC
o Assessment and evaluation of results, and action planned for slow learners and
fast learners for continuous improvement as approved by IQAC
o Covering up additional materials for developing skills for industry in terms of
contents beyond syllabus and mini projects as approved by IQAC
The contents of the course file prepared and updated by the faculty must be verified
and signed by faculty, Dean, PAC, IQAC and PVC-Academics.
The course file contents to be maintained by faculty are given in terms of various items
as listed in Appendix 2.1 for theory courses and in Appendix 2.2 for laboratory courses.
Faculty must submit the course file of current semester to Program Chair for
accreditation purpose ten days before the start of next semester after incorporating
analysis of ETE results.
The faculty shall submit the verified and approved course file of next semester ten days
before the start of coming semester.
The prepared materials on each and every category of course file will be checked,
verified and approved by IQAC once before the start of the semester, once in the
middle of the semester in association with school quality assurance committee and
finally verified at the end of the semester.

List of slow learners with their grade so far, quiz and CAT marks &
Action plan for enhanced learning(tutoring, more
handouts/materials, etc.) and proof of action and outcomes through
13 evaluation.
List of fast learners with their grade so far, quiz and CAT marks &
Action plan for higher achievement (such as projects, papers, etc.)
