EQUATION OF BERNOULLI

When we observe Bernoulli's equation is effective and useful because it relates pressure changes
with changes in velocity and height along a line of current. Therefore, to be applied, the flow must
comply with the following parameters:

1. Stable flow.
2. Incompressible flow.
3. Flow without friction.
4. Flow along a current line.

The Bernoulli equation can be applied between any two points on a current line, provided that the
other three parameters are satisfied.

For example.

we have the following results:

where the subscripts 1 and 2 represent any two points on a current line. Among the applications of
the above equations to typical flow problems, there are the following: flow in a nozzle, flow
through a siphon, Pitot tube and many more.

Speaking a bit in the history for fluid dynamics, the Bernoulli principle, also called Bernoulli's
equation or Bernoulli's trinomial, describes the behavior of a liquid moving along a stream of water.
It was exposed by Daniel Bernoulli in his work Hidrodinámica (1738) and expresses that in an ideal
fluid (without viscosity or friction) in a circulation system through a closed conduit, the energy that
the fluid possesses remains constant throughout its entire length.
