camps, food pantries, financial help and natural disaster relief.

What does The Salvation Army in Alamance County specifically do?

• The Salvation Army in Alamance County works with the Boys and Girls Club and provides
afterschool care, summer camps, and mentorship programs for the local community.
• The Boys and Girls club goal is to promote education, leadership, and health skills for local
children and teenagers.
• The Salvation Army of Alamance County also has a thrift store, run by store manager David
Eggleton.
• The thrift store provides various types of items, ranging from clothes to mattresses, and sells
or donates these goods.
• The Salvation Army of Alamance County also has a food bank that donates food to families
