Trustworthiness

Qualitative researchers have assessed the degree of confidence in their data using

credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability, and authenticity criteria. (Polit &

Beck, 2012)

A study's trustworthiness or rigor refers to the level of trust in data, interpretation,

and methods used to ensure a study's quality. (Polit & Beck, 2014)

Credibility

To the extent that the research methods generate confidence in the truth of the

interpretations of data and researchers, credibility is achieved. (Polit & Beck, 2012)

The most important criterion is the credibility of the study or the trust in the study

reality and therefore the findings. (Polit & Beck, 2014)

The researchers in the study will only be carrying out the truth in it. The data that

will be gathered from the participants will be as it is and there will be distortion of

information gathered.

Transferability

Transferability refers to the capacity for analysis. The degree in which results can

be transported to other environments or groups or have applicability. (Polit & Beck, 2012)

The existence of transferability, the degree to which results are useful to people in

all other settings, is dissimilar from certain research aspects in where readers actually

determine how well the findings are applicable to their cases. (Polit & Beck, 2014)
The researchers will provide the participants a data that can be useful to them, in

a sense that they can relate from it. Information that will be given by the researcher will

be used by the participants in other settings.

Dependability

Dependability refers to consistent and stable evidence. It is the accuracy and

consistency of the data collected. (Polit & Beck, 2012)

Dependability refers to the data stability over time and the study conditions. (Polit

& Beck, 2014)

The researchers will make sure that the data being collected will be accurate and

consistent and that is no evidence of any bias.

Confirmability

A qualification for integrity in a qualitative investigation, referring to data and

interpretations objectivity or neutrality. (Polit & Beck, 2012)

Confirmability is the neutrality or the results of the degree are consistent and could

be repeated in qualitative research. (Polit & Beck, 2014)

The researchers of this study will be neutral about that data that will be collected

and that they will be transparent in describing the data that will be gathered from the

participants and will eliminate personal views.

Authenticity

Authenticity refers to the extent that researchers demonstrate a variety of realities

relatively and diligently. (Polit & Beck, 2012)

Selection of suitable individuals for the research study and provision of a rich and

complex characterization are ways in which the researchers solve this requirement. (Polit

& Beck, 2014)

In this study, the researches will only be explaining and emphasizing different

realities fairly and faithfully. And when choosing appropriate individuals, the researchers

will follow the criteria.
