Brief Description and Purpose of the Research Instrument:


This part consists of the research instrument serving as a tool to collect Information and
data that was necessary to this study. The researchers used the survey-questionnaire form which
led to get information and data that helps for this study. It contained the following: 1. Profile of
the respondents. 2. The result of reading level of the learners in pre-test and post-test of RACE
program. 3. Perceived factors affecting the reading performances of the learners.

I. GENERAL DIRECTION
The researchers utilized the survey-questionnaire which aims to answer the
research questions by the respondents, which could lead to create the findings and
conclusions that are seen in chapters 4-5.

II. DATA PRIVACY POLICY AND RESEARCH ETHICS


All data gathered in this research instrument will strictly follow the provisions of
the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and will be stored, analyzed, and used exclusively for
the purpose of the research. The principles of research ethics will be adhered
throughout the conduct and process of the research.
