CURTAILMENT OF NON-EXECUTED WORKS

Dear Sir,

In the wake of deficit of funds against the 2nd Revised PC-I and to avoid any cost over-run, the issue of
curtailment of balance works under the contract packages of Civil Works of D.G. Khan Zone was discussed in the
meeting held on April 17, 2014 in Project Management Office, Lahore. It was emphasized in the meeting by Head
PMO that the contract packages may please be reviewed and rationalized for curtailment of non-executed works to
bring the overall costs within the available provisions made for D.G. Khan Zone in the 2nd Revised PC-I. For
compliance of this course of action, we submit herewith the list of remaining works under each package for your
perusal and necessary action to obtain the decision and approval of the Competent Authority for deletion of any
such item(s) of work and accordingly the instructions as to such deletion may please be given promptly by you
(being Engineer-In-Charge) to the respective contractors.

item of work.

11 Currency of payment: Payment for the work covered by this appropriation request will be made in Pak
Rupees.
