Delegate Conduct and Safety Guidelines

Delegates attending an event should follow guidelines regarding identification, personal belongings, cleanliness, conservation, and prohibited activities. Delegates must wear IDs, not hold organizers responsible for losses, return lost items, keep areas clean and tidy, observe quiet hours, and properly dispose of waste. Lights must be turned off when unoccupied and after 10 pm. Going out after curfew, property damage, gambling, drinking, smoking, and weapons are strictly forbidden.

1. ALL DELEGATES SHOULD ALWAYS WEAR THEIR ID.

2. TAKE CARE OF YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS. THE SCHOOL OFFICIALS


WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST VALUABLE THAT MAY
OCCUR DURING THE PERIOD OF THEIR STAY.

3. RETURN “LOST AND FOUND” KITS, BAGS, VALUABLES, AND OTHER


ARTICLES TO THE OFFICER OF THE DAY FOR POSSIBLE IDENTIFICATION OF
OWNERS.

4. DELEGATES ARE ENJOINED TO OBSERVE SILENCE AROUND THEIR


BILLETING AREA, THE MESS HALL AS WELL AS THEIR SLEEPING QUARTERS.

5. DELEGATES SHOULD KEEP ROOMS AND SURROUNDINGS CLEAN AND TIDY


IN THE BILLETING AREAS AND CONTEST VENUE.

6. DELEGATES SHOULD PLACE CANDY WRAPPERS, PLASTIC BAGS, TISSUES,


TOILET PAPER, SOAP WRAPPERS, AND OTHER WASTE MATERIALS IN
CONTAINERS RESERVED FOR THEM.

7. DELEGATES SHOULD OBSERVE ENERGY AND WATER CONSERVATION


MEASURES. ELECTRIC LIGHTS MUST BE SWITCHED OFF WHEN LEAVING THE
ROOM FOR SOME TIME. AFTER TEN O’CLOCK IN THE EVENING, ALL LIGHTS
SHOULD BE SWITCHED OFF.

8. GOING OUT OF THE QUARTER AFTER CURFEW HOUR IS STRICTLY NOT


ALLOWED.

9. PARTICIPANTS/OCCUPANTS FOR EVERY QUARTER ARE HELD RESPONSIBLE


FOR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE INCURRED WHETHER INTENTIONAL OR
ACCIDENTAL.

10. NO GAMBLING OF ANY FORM IS ALLOWED WITHIN THE SCHOOL.

11. DRINKING ALCOHOLIC DRINKS/LIQUOR AND SMOKING INSIDE THE


QUARTERS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

12. NO FIREARM/DEADLY WEAPON IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE CAMPUS.
