I believe that one thing you look for in such a letter of intent is being honest so I’ll try to explain the
reasons why I would like to study in your university.

The subjects offered by the Master of Science program in your university have brought in much
interest in me, as I have been longing to study on such an interesting program. Istanbul Technical
University is known to be one of the highest level universities in engineering and studying in this
university is a big chance to me.

I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Erciyes University in Turkey and then worked in
Telecommunication as a Project and Optimization Engineer at the some countries.

At this stage, the first reason why I’m interested in Engineering Management Program is that I believe
that the subject of the graduate program is the subject of the next decades. Another reason is that the
high level education standards of Istanbul Technical University will be helping me to develop my
personal skills and also improve my career.

Utilizing the skills and knowledge I have learned in my BS degree and my real-life experiences, I am
confident that I will like the subjects offered in the Masters program.

One of my goals is also to take my teaching career further in the university. Getting a Masters degree
will get me closer to it. I am sure about that I can have a executive position in private.

Furthermore, it is my intention to apply for the Engineering Management graduate program in your
university.
