Memoir/ Self Eval.

1.What were the best and worst parts of Senior Project/Senior Seminar?
- The best parts are that you get to learn something new and open your eyes to
things, you also get to learn things about yourself in the process. You get to learn
what things you can work on to help better yourself and you get to learn what
makes you different. The worst part is how time and energy consuming it is. It
adds on loads of stress and to you work in senior year but in the end it’s worth
every minute.

2. List three things you now know after completing your Senior Project.
-To be more prepared and have the available time.

- Don’t take on so much at once, it gets far too overwhelming

-Make sure it’s one hundred percent something you want to do.

3. What problems did you encounter, and how did you handle these problems?
-Mildew - Stain underneath black paint on the table and chairs
-Table top was warped - Lack of time (Work and dance team)
-Money
-I just worked harder and tried to focus more, currently I am still working through the
mildew process. As I can’t bleach it or it will ruin what I have already done and it keeps coming
back every time I dab it off.

4.Which aspect of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar stretched you the most? How did
you feel about and react to this challenge?
- What stretched me was trying to juggle school, work, and Dance so overall time. I
felt stressed to get everything done because I started to procrastinate. But in the
end I pulled myself together and worked hard.
5. How has Senior Project/Senior Seminar changed you (skills, attitudes, work habits,
capabilities, confidence, poise, presentation, etc.)?
- Senior project changed my attitude towards procrastination, I’ve learned to not do
that because it comes back to bite you later. I’ve learned what hard work truly
means and how much life really throws you curve balls especially when you’re
unprepared.

6. What would you do differently if you had to do the whole Senior Project/Senior
Seminar process again?
- I would definitely prepare and plan more, I jumped head first and it showed. I
would do some more research prior to starting also.

7. What advice do you have for next year’s seniors?

- I would tell them to not procrastinate and to plan or it will make it harder when
you get close to the end of it and to push through it and not give up.

8. Has this experience influenced your future plans?

- Yes, I wanted to try this in the future as a hobby and I’ve learned I don’t like it
because I just don’t have the time or patience if things start going wrong. So I will
no longer be doing this as a hobby in the future which in turn will help save me
time and money.

9. What grade would you give yourself for your Senior Project and what justification do
you have for that grade?
- I would give myself a B due to the fact that I did partially hurt myself with
procrastinating but the fact that I didn’t finish, but I still tried and worked hard.
