Why did you enroll in this class?
- I used to work for Webtoon, a Korean comic company. I took the work online by applying, doing the
skill exam, and passing it. However, the process was so fast that some of the formal steps had been
taken out. It was not like usual at all, compared to different companies, so I believed that enrolling in
this class to gain better knowledge of professionalism and prepare me before I apply for a different
company.

6. What are your expectations regarding the instructor?

- I do not have much expectation, but I wish my instructor could clear the due date for each assignment
so that I can keep track of my plan for the week.

What features of Canvas would you like to see used in this course?
- I would like to see the to-do list, notifications, and the calendar used in this course.

9. How often do you check your WWU student email? (This is the preferred email for this class)
- I often check my WWU student email One in the morning and one in the afternoon every day.

10. HOW FAMILIAR /COMFORTABLE ARE YOU WITH:

Self-Reflection/Journaling?
- Not great but I know the basics of which should be highlighted and which should not.

PowerPoint/Mediated Presentations?
- I am Pretty good with PowerPoint design for presentation content.

Outlining/Style Rules?
- I often use the bullet point style for outlining/rules.

- My definition of “professionalism” is to make it simple and clear.

- I would like to work on Organization, introduction, and teamwork.

What job would you like to apply for after college?
 - I would like to become a Designer, freelancer, or artist.

assignments?
- I am interested in my Resume, portfolio, and profile assignments.

What do you do currently that contributes to your career goals (work, volunteer, internship, etc)?
Volunteer to work for a studio, freelancer for a small art stuff shop, and a side artist for Webtoon.

HOPES:

Discuss some of your strengths as a team player and what characteristics you expect in your team
members.
- My strength is responsible with the part that I am assigned and being good at informing the rest
of the team of any sudden activities that happened. I expect my team could at least inform the
others to know what happened.
What knowledge, skills, and experiences will you bring to your team in Comm 318?
- Presentation skills and PowerPoint setup for the team.
As a team player, what do you hope to achieve for yourself/your team?
- I hope that I can Do my best for my team to achieve a good grade.
What do you think makes a good team?
- All members contribute to the workshop or team assignment. I don’t care if they do not contribute
a lot, but at least inform the rest of the team if they do not want to do the assignment or the part
that they feel they are not good at.

My three main goals are:

- Better presentation skill
- Better checking other teammates and encouraging them.
- Better searching skills.

CONCERNS: What might interfere with the attainment of this goal(s)? What can you actively do to
eliminate or manage the interference(s)?
- I need to learn how to love my “neighbor.”
COMMUNICATION HEALTH PLAN:

How will you take care of yourself this quarter?

- I tried to cook 2 meals a day, do the homework on time like how I planned and made sure that I
do not miss any important deadlines or any important emails.

How will you eliminate stress, procrastination, etc.?

- I will dye my hair or play video games to release my stress. I will stick lots of note papers around
my room to help me get out of procrastination.
How will you communicate the importance of your mental and physical health to your peers?
- I rather chat or ask them if are they willing to hear before talking to them about my problem. I
know that people are not always in the mood to give other people, an “ear.”

How will you maintain a positive self/team attitude?

- From my perspective, I believe that if I could create a friendly atmosphere for my team by taking
a few minutes to talk about how their day was going before starting the discussion would help
them feel more comfortable for an open up communication for a better quality of discussion.
