To whom it may concern,

Megan Johnson is a fabulous music specialist. She is continuously self-

motivated and enthusiastic. She is intuitive about the needs of the students, and she
provides very organized lessons with many opportunities for extension throughout.

Megan was a student of mine during the Kodály classes taught at SMU
during summers. She showed a great ability to plan and present lessons that were
on point with all curriculum concepts and was encouraging of her fellow classmates
as well. Megan has gone on to be a great asset at her current school, and has
dedicated herself to the encouragement of other teachers through her outside
endeavors as the north area representative of the Kodály Educators of Texas.

Through conversations and collaboration, I have seen Megan able to re-

direct and re-teach as needed within the lessons. She provides constructive
comments to encourage improvement in individual children. She is extremely
professional in her appearance and conduct.

Megan will be an asset to any school, and I highly recommend her

employment as a music specialist in any school district.
