It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Lydia Pagan in reference to a
teaching position in your district. Ms. Pagan was a student in my Problem Solving and Elementary
Mathematics Methods (EMM) classes. In both classes, Ms. Pagan has shown diligence in preparing
for classes, knowledge of mathematical content, and pedagogical skills.

During the EMM class, Ms. Pagan effectively planned for unit and daily lesson plans. Ms. Pagan
prepared and presented a unit on areas and perimeters, where her creativity managed to differentiate
and engage all students from beginning to closure. It was clear to see that Ms. Pagan has the
disposition and ability to reach all students.

Ms. Pagan has all of the prerequisites to begin a career as a successful educator. Overall, I highly
recommend Ms. Pagan for an elementary teacher’s position in your district. If you have any
