I highly recommend Megan Curtis as a prospective employee with your school corporation. I have
worked with Megan in my position as Principal of Lybrook Elementary School for the past three
years.
Megan has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her ability to connect
with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are
both truly superior. Megan is a young teacher, but has the talent of a seasoned veteran. She has
classroom procedures in place that make learning enjoyable for all the children. Her expectations
for learning and proper classroom behavior were very evident. She is careful to give every child a
chance to respond and feel included. Several of the students in her class struggle during
unstructured time. Her lessons are engaging and relevant, I rarely see a child from her class, except
to praise them for reaching a goal.
She has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, reliable and
computer literate. Megan can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the
job gets done. She accomplishes these tasks with great initiative and with a very positive attitude.
