* WHAT IS MDS?
MIRPURKHAS DEBATERS SQUAD (MDS) is the forum which is working on Public
Speakers of Mirpurkhas through different types of activities. MDS deals in teaching people to speak
on their basic issues and problems that happen in their daily life. Simply speaking , we are awakening
the youth.
* WHAT IS TALENT MELA?

TALENT MELA (TM) provides platform to exhibit the talent and to promote them on City
level> Province level> National level. We arrange different types of competitions and activities to
groom the young talent of Pakistan.
* WHAT ABOUT TALENT MELA TM`18?

In previous year 2k18 ,I arranged first edition of TALENT MELA (ALL MIRPURKHAS
COMPETITIONS) we discover the emerging talent of all over Mirpurkhas and it was very interesting.
The competitions which we made in TM` 18 are : Declamation, Quiz, Painting and sketching etc.

So those were some memories and glimpses fromTM`18 that was held on
19th August 2k18 at AJRAK Club MIRPURKHAS SINDH.

* WHAT ABOUT TALENT MELA`19!
This year we are going to arrange 2nd Edition of TALENT MELA as
TALENT MELA`19 (ALL SINDH COMPETITIONS). We are including all the cities of Sindh as we
promised that we would promote that talent so we are promoting them on Province level.
In this edition following Competitions is going to Held.

• BILINGUAL DECLAMATION
• Competition will be bilingual( English & Urdu.)

• The competition will comprise of two rounds.
• Participants can participate as team or Individual.
• This is compulsion for a team that if one member of team chooses a topic from one language , the
other member will choose a topic from the other language.
• Time duration will be 3:00 to 3:30 minutes.
• Reading paper will not be allowed.

• Speakers will not be allowed to make objectionable, Vulgar, or indecent remarks about any religion,
Caste, Creed, Political party or Personage.
• Judges' Decision will be not debatable.

• Each team contains 3 members
• A topic will be give on the spot then both teams will give their opinions/Points.
• One Team will speak in favor and other against.
• Using vulgar Sentence and Misbehaving will may lead to disqualify immediately.
• Most Ethical, Strong, Proper, True answers will be given higher marks.
• Competition Contains two rounds having the same rules

• QUIZ.
• Competition will comprise of two rounds.
• Each team contains two participant.
• First round syllabus will be given before three days of competition and Final round syllabus will be
provided before last night of the next day.
• Only one teams can participate from any institute.
• Question will be based on (Islam, History, Sports ,Pakistan).
Registration fee : 700-PKR (TEAM).

• BAIT BAZI.
• Each team consists two candidates
• Competition has two rounds.
• There must not more than two verses of Ash’aar(poetry) in a turn.
• All teams must keep in the mind the ethical and moral values while selecting the verses.
• A verse, once recited, will not be repeated.
• The conscious attack of Radheef is prohibited; violation will result in deduction of mark.
• Each verse will carry the value of three marks, and each mistake will result deduction of one mark.
• In case of more than one mistake in a single verse, marks equal to the number of mistakes will be
deducted from the total marks of the team.
• The Criteria of judgment will be based upon:
o Balance of Verse.
o Presentation & Pronunciation.
o Quality of thoughts.
• Decision of judges will be final and not Challenge-able.

• NAZAM.
• The Nazam Should be according to the given title.
• Title of Nazam (‫)دستک‬

• Only Azad Nazam or Paband Nazam is acceptable.
• Nasri Nazam will not be entertained.
• Presentation of Nazam should not be exceeded the time limit of five minutes.
• One which exceeds the time limit will receive negative marks.
• Each participant has to Submit four copies of the nazam at least one hour before the start of
competition.
o Balance of Verse.
• The decision of judges cannot be challenged in any case.

• GHAZAL.
• The Ghazal Should be according to the given TRAHA MISRA.
• TRAHA MISRA of the Ghazal is ,(‫)میری سادگی دیکھ میں کیا چاہتا ہوں‬
• “ GIRAH” of this TRAHA MISRA is Compulsory.
• Each participant has to Submit four copies of the Ghazal at least one hour before commencement t of
competition.
• Ghazal Should not be more than five verses long and the one which exceeds the limit will get
negative marks.
o Balance of Verse.
• The decision of judges cannot be challenged in any case.
• Plagiarism will be Checked.

• A performance exceeding the allocated time (3-5 MINUTES) will be marked down accordingly.

• SPEED PROGRAMMING.
• Competition will be based on 3 task, Every task will have10 minutes .
• Copy/paste will not allowed.
• Internet will not allowed.
• Participants have to bring their own laptop.
• Participants may use any Programming language but the one you are going to use confirm that to
us before 30 minutes of starting competitions
• Decision of judges will be final & not Challenge-able.
• LOGO DESIGN.
• The theme of logo will be given ON SPOT.
• Laptop will be arranged by the participants.
• Theme should be strictly followed.
• Plagiarism will be checked.
• PHOTOGRAPHY.
• Catch & Capture Photography
• Complete the list of tasks given on the day of competitions and submit your pictures.
• Participants have to submit their pictures within defined time.
• Portrait Photography
• Participants have to submit (1) Picture within the given deadline.
• In this competitions, participants have to submit a photograph of a person or group of people that
captures the personality of the subject by using effective lighting, backdrops & poses.
• All the work should be original.
• Any copied & internet material will not allowed
• Editing , manipulation & treatment of the picture is not allowed.

• Participants have to submit (1) Picture within the given deadline.

• In this competitions, participants have to submit a photograph that typically capture the presence
of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes.
• All the work should be original.
• Any copied & internet material will not allowed
• Editing , manipulation & treatment of the picture is not allowed.
• Will be in raw files.
• Picture should be captured within the event (on Spot).
• DRAWING/SKETCHING
• Theme will be given to you on the spot.
• All the Material will be arranged by Participator.
• Size of Sheet should be 20x16
• Theme would be strictly followed.
• Duration will be 2 Hours.
