Liveworts, mosses, and hornworts belong to non
vascular plant group.
They do not have true steem, roots system or leaves.
Smaller in size.

What are the words that you have

formed according to the pictures Roots, Stems, Leaves, Flowers
shown on the illustrations?

What do you think are these things? Plants/Parts of Plants

Very good!

Okay, based on the game that you

played, we are going to tackle
about Plants and it’s two major
groups.
(Students Group themselves into three)
But before that, we are going to
have an activity and again I’ll group
you into three groups.

Our Activity this afternoon is about

classifying Two Major Groups of
Plant.
Criteria of Ratings
For the criteria of rating your scores. Creativity .............................. 30%
Please refer on the board. Cooperation of the Group ....... 30%
Everybody please read. Presentation .......................... 50%
________________
Total 100%
I’ll give you 15 minutes to do your
activity. Your time starts now!

C. EXPLORE

Group 1 will complete the Retrieval

Chart and Present their group by
means of a News Casting

Group 2
D. EXPLAIN

Time is up! Kindly post your work on

the board. The first one to perform (Group 1 will present their work)
is group 1.

Let’s give the group 1 Aling

Dionesia Clap.

Next group is group 2. (Group 2 will present their work)

Let’s give them a Fireworks Clap.

Last Group to present is Group 3. (Group 3 will present their work)

Let’s give them Smart Clap

E. ELABORATE

Okay! Let’s check your work. Based

on the activity that you have done ,
who can give me the characteristics
of Vascular Plants?

Correct! What Else?

How about the characteristics of a

Non Vascular Plants?

Can you give an example of a Non

Vascular Plant?

Very Good!

So where can we usually find this

kind of plants?

Why do you think Non Vascular

Plants cannot grow bigger or taller?

Exactly! So what is the difference

between Vascular and Non Vascular
Plants?

How can we classify Vascular and

Non Vascular Plants?

Very Good! So if will give you

different pictures of plants, can you
classify them if it’s Vascular or Non
Vascular Plant?

Class, based on our discussion, who

can give an important role of plants
in our Environment?
Very Good! But class, do you think
Non Vascular Plants also have
important roles in our environment
even if they are small? Why?

Very Good! Is there any questions

regarrding our lesson for today?

F. EVALUATION
