BYOD/BYOT Policy:
Trinity Christian School does not have a BYOD/BYOT policy, in fact, personal technology and
cellphones are not permitted on school. For this assignment, I provided the BYOD/BYOT policy
for Forsyth County Schools.

Appropriate Platform:
Apple, Google, or Windows computers; iOS and Android devices.

No Tech Policy:
Students without personal devices will be allowed to check out school Chromebooks for
classroom use. For all of the apps listed there are website-based alternative which can be used
instead of the app-based ones.

Student Grouping:
Students will work in solo groupings for some assignments and activities, partners and small
groups for others. The type of grouping will depend on what is happening in the class. Using
SmartMusic to practice choral parts may be more appropriate in solo groupings for some
students and small groups/pairs for others. A composition activity will be done best in a solo
grouping. A music history research project will be best if completed in a group setting with each
student on their own devices. Music theory and ear training could be done solo or in pairs.
