Simple Chicken Recipe

Chicken and Dumplings


Chicken and dumplings is a traditional dish consisting of stewed chicken and vegetables with small dollops of wheat-flour dough
added to the stew while cooking. A rich and hearty dish, chicken and dumplings is high in calories per serving. The dish also contains
significant amounts of dietary sodium.

Ingredients
Chicken Dumpling

 1 cut-up whole chicken (3 to 3 1/2 lb.)  1/8 teaspoon pepper


 2 medium stalks celery  5 cups water
 1 medium carrot, sliced (1/2 cup)  2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
 1 small onion, sliced  2 1/2 cups Original mix with full power

Direction

1.2. Remove chicken and vegetables from Dutch oven.
