Title Supply Chain Officer Reporting to Head of Operations

Position Summary
The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for the managing functions related to supply chain within the organization. He
will be responsible for managing the execution and coordination of inbound transportation of raw materials to ensure timely
delivery. The incumbent would also be responsible for ensuring competitive pricing for the raw materials sourced

Duties & Responsibilities

 Ensure smooth operations of the supply chain function in line with the developed and approved standard operating
procedures
 Develop, maintain and manage good relationships with the vendors to ensure cost effective and mutual benefits for
both the parties
 Ensure timely preparation of reports on inventory, purchasing and other activities
 Work towards minimizing inventory days while avoiding stock-outs
 Monitor the cost / benefit analysis reports to determine the optimal product order quantities based on pricing,
lead-times, demand, warehouse capacity / utilization, delivery schedules and raw materials ordering costs
 Work with the head of operations for negotiating and agreeing the best possible pricing for raw materials
 Work towards developing relationships with vendors to achieve strategic sourcing

Requirements

Experience
 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing and Logistics functions; demonstrating progressive Increase in responsibilities
Education
 Master Degree in Business management or Supply Chain preferred
Other Requirements
 Conflict management and negotiating
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
 Stakeholder (customer) focus with ability to develop strong business relationships
 Ability to identify, design and implement process improvements
 Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications and a working knowledge or business ERP systems
