Role: Supplier Discovery and Acquisitions Lead (Textile Goods)

About The Job

The Supplier manager will manage Indian supplier relations playing key role in the business
expansion of the firm. The person will be responsible for onboarding and developing supplier base
for textile goods in India and monitoring supplier operations.

Preferred qualifications:

 8+ years of experience working in B2B MSME landscape in India

 Experience with business development and stakeholder development
 Master's degree in management or a technical or engineering field.
 Experience in succeeding in ambiguity and driving strategy in a fast-paced, constantly
evolving environment, with an executive presence.
 Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous situations
 Exceptional business judgment to effectively Setup and scale supplier development
 Experienced professional in identification and development of clusters
 Excellent leadership, and problem-solving skills.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

 Building strategic relationships with textile goods suppliers and communicate the value
proposition.
 Developing a complete understanding of supplier needs and building a heat map of
suppliers with respect to demand from Sales
 Managing Discovery, Acquisition, Onboarding of Suppliers on the platform.
 Guide and support suppliers through the entire supplier journey.
 Coordinate with partners providing Quality Assessment, Production monitoring and
inspection services.
 Take responsibility of supplier management processes in close collaboration with Sales,
Category and Marketing teams.
 Building and leading business development and sales teams to deliver Supplier excellence,
Supplier onboarding, Supplier development, Production management, Quality CoE
