A life woven through time

“The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot. “ ~ Michael Altshuler

Clock doesn’t pause and time doesn’t stop. In this kind of society we live in, we
always look for a time to do the things we need and the things that we want. But most
people neglect the value of it thinking that there would always be another time. But
what if, what if that is the only time you’ve got? What if there is no another after that?
Would you just regret that you underestimate its importance?

I captured this photo when I was riding in LRT. I didn’t notice that I was already
in my destination because of the speed of the train. Riding a train is like being in the
journey of life. You wouldn’t notice that you are already at your destination because of
the time. They say life is too short, but the truth is, life is already long enough if you just
lived it well. We handle our own schedules, we organized our time. It all depends on us
on how are we going to use and value every second of it.

I am one of the people who thinks that time is the greatest thief of life. One
minute can completely turn your world upside down. It only takes a moment for a thing
to be completely turn around. Some people are afraid of goodbyes, especially the ones
who already has a limited time. You see, time is indeed a blessing and a curse. Blessing
because it was given for us to spend a worthwhile journey. It can also be a curse
because there is no exact ways or steps on how to use it. We have different ways of
spending our time. You may delay things, but time will not.

Do what you want today, because your tomorrow may never come. We shouldn’t
be too focus on the past nor the future. For the past is a place of reference, not a place
of residence; the past is a place of learning, not a place of living. Your future isn’t sure,
don’t feel too pressured . Just live in the present but never throw your future, be happy
but not lazy. Don’t waste your time in anger, regrets, worries, and grudges. Life is too
precious to be unhappy. Whether it’s the best of times or the worst of times, it’s the only
time we’ve got.
