Mr. Freedman,

My name is Vered Hassin and I am a junior at UC San Diego. As part of the curriculum and
in furtherance of my studies in Art History, I write to be considered for an internship position in
your renowned art gallery, Freedman Fitzpatrick Los Angeles.

For the past two years I have been an active member of Da Vinci’s Picks, an on-campus
organization that presents the work of student artists on a quarterly basis. This volunteer
organization is very well known on and off campus, in part because of my efforts. I manage
the marketing and publicity team for the club’s events, and have harnessed the power of social
media to gain attendees and bolster our brand across the UCSD community. This year, we
have successfully launched three exhibitions comprised of work from over 25 student artists.
Average attendance to our gallery shows has tripled during my time with the organization. I am
very proud of these accomplishments. I would like to use my skills in social media management
and digital marketing to aid your gallery this summer as an intern.

I am looking for an opportunity to experience the internal operations of a contemporary art

gallery and Freedman Fitzpatrick is one of my favorites. It would be an honor to contribute to
