COTABATO PROVINCE

A landlocked province in the Philippines located in the SOCCSKSARGEN region in Mindanao.


Known as one of the food baskets in Mindanao. It’s vast plains and rolling terrains provide
suitable areas for growing a variety of crops.

GENERAL SANTOS CITY

The southernmost city in the Philippines. Classified as a highly urbanized first class city and the
regional center for commerce and industry of the Soccsksargen region, and is geographically
located within the province of South Cotabato but administered independently of it.

Previously known as Dadiangás.

SARANGANI

The southern most province in the mainland of Mindanao. Surrounded by the Celebes Sea,
Sarangani Bay, and the province of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Davao del Sur. Has
seven municipalities (Alabel, Malapatan, Glan, Malungon, Maasim, Kiamba and Maitum) The
province is well known for its cultural heritage. The place is highly endowed with nature's
blessings.

TACURONG CITY
Situated at the heart of south central Mindanao, and the only city in the province of Sultan
Kudarat and was proclaimed as a chartered city on September 18, 2000. Becoming known for
its 1.7 hectare Bird Sanctuary in Baras Village, temporary home of some 20, 000 visiting birds
of various species.
