McGroarty. Michael was one of the best hires that I executed as a Principal in the Los
Angeles Unified School District. Michael joined the Ambassador School of
Leadership team on August 23, 2016. Michael has proven to be intelligent, decisive,
collaborative, respected, efficient, adaptive, organized, passionate and highly
professional. Michael is a genuinely dynamic educator with a clear sense of vision,
leadership, and passion.

Michael McGroarty effectively plans standard-based lessons and delivers them with
ease. He provides students with immediate feedback and differentiates his instruction
so that the needs of all students are met. He builds a positive rapport with all students
effortlessly. Michael makes learning meaningful and relevant for students. He
maximizes every instructional minute and can lead students to achieve at high levels.

Not only is Michael McGroarty an outstanding educator, but he is also a fantastic

leader in that he can inspire his peers and community stakeholders. He was able to
plan and lead family nights and other school functions such as connecting our
students with young congressional candidates. Michael is an active advocate of
parental and community involvement with our school. He mentored teachers and
provided them with strategies to enhance their practice. Mr. McGroarty is always
willing to step-up and takes on additional duties without hesitation.

It is without reservation that I highly recommend Michael McGroarty for a teaching

position in your network. His work ethic, compassion, and respect for diversity are an
example to his peers. If I were to return to the field of education, he would be one of
the first individuals that I would contact to offer a position.
