Accomplishment Report on 4p’s

(Pagbasa, Pagsusuri ng napanood at Pagsulat, Palakasin)

Reading, movie reviewing and writing are some of the skills a student should have. As a result,
the Filipino subject made programs to strengthen it. One of those is to make an initial assessment of
their reading level through reading test. Students who were at the frustration level were given
remedies to do so.

Each quarter, students are also required to read and evaluate a series of literary works, to
develop their analysis skills. In addition to this, Panunuring Pampelikula were conducted last February,
where students not only watch but they also learn to review the content of the movie. Such reviews
also develop their writing skills.

Filipino teachers continue to look for and devise other ways and strategies to further develop
these skills. And the aim to persistently improve these skills will be possible with the determination of
students.
