NARRATIVE REPORT on CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM

Career guidance Program assists the Senior High School entrants in making informed decisions
regarding their choice of Senior High School track and promotes awareness in the importance of choosing a
track that suits their skills and interests that matches the available resources and needs of the socieTu
Module 1 entitled “Embarking on a Journey of Self-Awareness. This module helped the learners
discover who they are in terms of their likes, values, skills, and interests. They were given three-output based
activities, namely: self-portrait bas, dream collage, and their journal. Through these activities, they were able
to share, who they are to their classmates and also reflects in the said activities.
In module 2 entitled “Examining the Destinations,” there are two sessions. Session 1 tackles important
information of Senior High School and brief lectures on Academic track and TVL track. In session 2 tackled brief
lectures on Arts & design Track and Sports Track. This modules helped the learners understand understands
the curricular characteristics of the four Senior High School tr5ack, and also helped hem identify possible
tracks & strands he or she will want to pursue through emphasis on their self-awareness.
In module 3 entitled “Charting Your Own Course” This modules helped develop the learners’ decision-
making skills. Here, the learners did 3 activities. They started by singing the song “We Can Be Anything”, by Apl
de Ap. Then, did the activities Plan a Vacation and Plan a Vocation.
A Parent-Teacher conference was also held to enlighten the parents about what is Senior High School
and help them guide their child on the choice of track in Senior High School.
After accomplishing the Grade 10 Career Guidance Program, learners can now decide what track they
are going to choose in Senior High School.
