COURSE TITLE: FILIPINO SA IBA’T IBANG DISIPLINA (FILDIS)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Ang FILDIS ay isang praktikal na kursong nagpapalawak at nagpapalalim sa kasanayan sa malalim at mapanuring pagbasa, pagsulat, at pananaliksik sa wikang Filipino sa
iba’t ibang larangan, sa konteksto ng kontemporaryong sitwasyon at mga pangangailangan ng bansa at ng mga mamamayang Pilipino. Nakatuon ang kursong ito sa
makrokasanayang pagbasa at pagsulat, gamit ang mga makabuluhang pananaliksik sa wikang Filipino, bilang lunsaran ng pagsasagawa ng pananaliksik (mula sa pangangalap
ng datos at pagsulat ng borador ng pananaliksik hanggang sa publikasyon at/o presentasyon nito) na nakaugat sa mga suliranin at realidad ng mga komunidad ng mga
mamamayan sa bansa at maging sa komunidad ng mga Pilipino sa iba pang bansa. Saklaw rin ng kursong ito ang paglinang sa kasanayang pagsasalita, partikular sa
presentasyon ng pananaliksik sa iba’t ibang porma at venue. Pre-requisite sa kursong ito ang pagkuha ng kursong Konstektwalisadong Komunikasyon sa Filipino (KOMFIL).

PROGRAM GOAL:
The BEEd degree program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy of elementary education.

Sa pagtatapos ng kurso, inaaasahang matututuhan ng mga mag-aaral ang mga sumusunod:

Kaalaman
 Maipaliwanag ang ugnayan ng mga function ng wikang Filipino bilang wikang pambansa, wika ng bayan, at wika ng pananaliksik na nakaugat sa pangangailangan ng
sambayanan.
 Maisa-isa ang mga suliraning lokal at nasyonal ng komunidad na kinabibilangan.
 Matukoy ang mga mapagkakatiwalaan, makabuluhan at kapaki-pakinabang na sanggunian sa pananaliksik
 Makapagmungkahi ng mga solusyon sa mga pangunahing suliraning panlipunan sa mga komunidad at sa buong bansa, batay sa pananaliksik.
 Maipaliwanag ang mahigpit na ugnayan ng pagpapalakas ng wikang pambansa, pagpapatibay ng kolektibong identidad, at pambansang kaunlaran.
 Malikhain at mapanuring mailapat sa pananaliksik ang piling makabuluhang konsepto at teoryang lokal at dayuhan na akma sa konteksto ng komunidad at bansa.

Kasanayan
 Maisapraktika at mapaunlad pa ang mga batayang kasanayan sa pananaliksik.
 Makapagbasa at makapagbuod ng impormasyon, estadistika, datos atbp. mula sa mga babasahing nakasulat sa Filipino sa iba’t ibang larangan.
 Makapagsalin ng mga artikulo, pananaliksik atbp. na makapag-aambag sa patuloy na intelektwalisasyon ng wikang Filipino.
 Makapagsaliksik hinggil sa mga sanhi at bunga ng mga suliraning lokal at nasyonal gamit ang mga tradisyonal at modernong mga sanggunian.
 Makapagbalangkas ng mga makabuluhang solusyon sa mga suliraning lokal at nasyonal.
 Makapagpahayag ng mga makabuluhang kaisipan sa pamamagitan ng tradisyonal at modernong midyang akma sa kontekstong Pilipino.
 Makagawa ng mga malikhain at mapanghikayat na presentasyon ng impormasyon at analisis na akma sa iba’t ibang konteksto.
 Makapagsagawa ng pananaliksik sa Filipino sa iba’t ibang larangan.
 Malinang ang Filipino bilang daluyan ng inter/multidisiplinaring diskurso at pananaliksik na nakaugat sa mga realidad ng lipunang Pilipino.
 Makabuo ng papel o artikulo na maaaring ibahagi sa isang forum o kumperensya at/o ilathala sa isang akademikong journal.

Halagahan
 Mapalalim ang pagpapahalaga sa sariling teorya ng mga Pilipino sa iba’t ibang larangan.
 Malinang ang adhikaing makibahagi sa pagbabagong panlipunan.
 Maisaalang-alang ang kultura at iba pang aspektong panlipunan sa pagsasagawa ng pananaliksik.

1. Students having seven (7) absences without valid reasons will be dropped from the class. Students are required to present
admit to class slip from the Office of Student Affairs and Services after being absent in the previous meeting.
2. Three (3), not necessarily consecutive, tardiness without further notice is equivalent to one (1) absence.
COURSE POLICIES
Incomplete Grade:
1. Students who were not able to take the midterm/final examinations will receive an incomplete grade.
2. Incomplete grade should be complied within one year.
